    約5年の歳月を経て "LASTRESORT DENIM" 最高峰 "Gold Tag/金タグ" の名を冠した大戦モデル "Lot S407XX 1942 WPB" L-181 War Model となります。

    このモデルは1942年8月にWPB（War Production Board＝軍需生産本部）が物資統制のために出した法令「L-181」に基づき、すべての工場が「simplified model」として生産していたと仮定し、ジェラード社所有の "DEADSTOCK" デニムを解析、国の検査機関で素材データを取得。
    その数値に基づき、糸の撚りや打ち込み本数を調整し、現存する最古の織機である "TOYODA G3" を使用して再現しております。

    生地には "ディープサウス" 米綿100％を使用し、6番・7番・8番の3種類の番手をランダムに配置し微妙なムラを表現しております。
    緯糸には長さ38mmの最高級超長綿 "スヴィンゴールド シュプリーム" を採用し、ロープ染色は "デッドストック" を参考に深みのあるピュアインディゴで染め上げ "TOYODA G3" 織機で「経68本×緯47本」の打ち込みを施し、しなやかで滑らかな着心地とヴィンテージデニム特有の不規則な色落ちを実現しています。

    デザインは、ジェラード社所有 "S506XX初期型" をベースに当時の大戦モデルの雰囲気を忠実に再現。

    大戦モデルは "ドーナツ型月桂樹ボタン" が有名ですが、初期の頃は通常ラインに使われていた鉄製ボタンのタイプも存在し4つボタン仕様で再現しております。


    ポケットにはフラップを付けずシンプルな "1stモデル" の仕様を踏襲しております。

    30年代から使用されていたリベットの在庫をそのまま流用したという設定のもと「JELADO Co」の "o" を小文字にした特注リベットを製作。

    尾錠も30年代のバックルを型から再現し、鉄製で仕上げています。




    また、一部のダブルステッチにはヴィンテージのレア個体を再現したレインボーステッチを採用。




    最上のヴィンテージデニムを追求し、今できる最高峰のデニム素材を作り上げたジェラードの "Gold Tag/金タグ" は着込むほどに奥行きのある色落ちが生まれ、ワンウォッシュでは味わえない独特の風合いを楽しめます。
    デッドストックの解析から生まれた現代で再現可能な最高峰のデニムジャケットはデニム愛好者にとって欠かせないアイテムとなることでしょう。
