    モデル名 "Jungle Fatigues/ジャングルファティーグ" TROPICAL TROUSERS とは、1942年にアメリカ陸軍の空挺部隊  "M-42" パラトルーパーパンツとして採用されたのを皮切りに、各国の軍隊で戦闘服のパンツとして採用され始め1951年のアメリカ陸軍で採用された軍パンの名品 "M-51" 戦闘用パンツでほぼ現在の姿になりました。

    のちに作業服やカジュアルウェアとして一般にも普及し "cargo pants/カーゴパンツ" や6つポケットがあるため "6ポケットパンツ" とも呼ばれます。

    フリーホイーラーズ "Jungle Fatigues/ジャングルファティーグ" TROPICAL TROUSERS CUT-LENGTH は、60年代 "M-51" 後継 "M-65" モデルを踏襲しております。

    生地にはフリーホイーラーズ オリジナル "Vintage Style Rip-Stop" COTTON 100% を使用しております。
    第二次世界大戦中にパラシュートや軍用防護服の強化として開発され、引き裂き(Rip)を食い止める(Stop)という意味があり、万が一生地が破れても格子状の糸がそれ以上の進行を防ぐ耐久性に優れた素材となります。

    前後両サイドのポケットは全て両玉縁のフラップ付きポケットになります。

    膝部両サイドにはプリーツの入ったフラップ付きパッチポケットが採用されております。
