モデル名 "STEVEDORE" とは港湾作業員、船舶貨物の揚げ降ろし作業に従事する人などからとなり、彼らが穿いていた古い年代のトラウザー(Can’t bust’em/キャントバステム製などのFrisco Pants/フリスコパンツと呼ばれるトラウザー類)をモチーフとし、LATE 1930s〜第二次世界大戦頃の仕様を施したフリーホイーラーズ オリジナル モデルとなります。
スラックス、トラウザー風の太めワークパンツとなり、最大の特徴はヒップ周りはスッキリしておりますが、太腿、膝から裾にかけてかなり太く、微妙にブーツカットになっております。
フロントはトップに小さめのスナップボタン、その下には大戦時特有の無地ドーナツボタンを採用しております。
縫製糸にオリーブブラウン、オリーブ色ヘリンボーン生地の帯裏となり、こちらも大戦仕様となります。
カーブを描くフロントポケット、シンチバック、サスペンダー用無地ドーナツボタンも特徴となります。
生地にはフリーホイーラーズ "Original 11.5oz Indigo Denim" COTTON 100%(WASH) を使用しております。
大戦時特有の赤黒い濃い濃色のロープ染色を施したムラが強く長い太番手の縦糸を使用し、緯糸に非常に自然なムラのある綿糸と落ち綿を混ぜたネップのある綿糸を使用し、2-1の組織で織り上げた右綾デニムとなります。
落ち綿を混ぜたネップのある綿糸をランダムに打つ細工をした生地となり着用と共にネップが取れ、独特の強いタテ落ち感が楽しめます。
モデル名 "STEELBACKERS/スティールバッカーズ" WORK COAT Lot #2621004 と同生地となり、セットアップもオススメです。
飾らないシンプルな仕様で当時の港湾労働者などタフなワーカーに要望の高かったトラウザーで、近年古着市場でも高値で取引されているフリスコスタイルのモデルとなります。

生地の縮みが安定するまで、総丈で約3.0センチ、内股で2.0～2.3センチ程度短くなる予測です。
納品時のままで上げをすると洗いを重ねた後に、丈が短くなってしまう恐れがありますのでご注意ください。
丈上げの際は1・2回洗い、生地を安定させてから行うことをお勧めいたします。
