    モデル名 "STEELBACKERS/スティールバッカーズ" とは、鉄鋼や航空機など軍需工場で働くハードな労働者達の非常にクールで男クサい男達の鉄のような背骨のイメージからとなります。

    このモデルは第二次世界大戦時の物資統制下の仕様となり、ドーナツボタン、チンストなし、台襟なし、フロント胸ポケットなしのネームだけが残った1930年頃からのカバーオールを簡略化した大戦モデルとなります。
    シルエットは、着丈長めで長方形気味の少し細めとなります。

    襟部は、台襟なし、チンストなしのシンプルな仕様で、フロントと袖口のボタンはフリーホイーラーズ オリジナル鉄製月桂樹ワンスタードーナツボタンとなります。








    左胸ポケットは簡略化により廃止され、ネームのみ付きます。


    両サイドにつく腰ポケットは真四角に近い形状で、少し高めの位置に付くのが特徴的です。


    縫製は大戦モデルらしく裾部や所々の下糸、カンヌキ裏などにオリーブ色の綿糸を使用し、全て2本針仕様の巻き縫いと本縫いで仕上げております。



    生地にはフリーホイーラーズ "Original 11.5oz Indigo Denim" COTTON 100%(WASH) を使用しております。
    "IRON WHARF" からオンスを上げ、大戦時特有の赤黒い濃い濃色のロープ染色を施したムラが強く長い太番手の縦糸を使用し、緯糸に非常に自然なムラのある綿糸と落ち綿を混ぜたネップのある綿糸を使用し、2-1の組織で織り上げた右綾デニムとなります。
    落ち綿を混ぜたネップのある綿糸をランダムに打つ細工をした生地となり着用と共にネップが取れ、独特の強いタテ落ち感が楽しめます。
