生地には
ジェラードオリジナル
第二次世界大戦当時と同じく、
タテヨコ20のムラ糸を使い
左綾に高密度で織り上げた生地を使用。
ムラ糸を使用し旧式織機で織り上げている為、
生地の凹凸感やネップ感など
ヴィンテージ好きにはたまらない表情の生地となります。
基本右綾の双糸使いがウエポン、
左綾の単糸使いがチノとされており、
今回の生地は
まさしくチノ生地をつかったチノトラウザーです。
当時のヴィンテージ同様 "2mm" の両玉縁で
バックポケット、コインポケットを縫製し、
縫製糸の番手や運針など
合わせて縫い上げております。
フロント裏の持ち出しやポケットには別生地のチノを使い、
見えないところにも
ヴィンテージのディテールにこだわっております。
シルエットは当時のシルエットをそのまま生かし、
武骨で男らしい太めのチノトラウザーに仕立ております。
