モデル名 "WAXED COTTON FIELD BAG" とは「野生動物保護団体」から着想を得て、1960～70年代以降ムーブメントとして特に盛んになった自然回帰思想とも結び付き、アウトドアスポーツがサファリやハンティングから自然との共生へと変遷してきた時代をアイテムデザインや素材使いを通して表現したバックとなります。
生地には "British Millerain Co.Ltd. Traditional Waxed Fabric" COTTON 100% オイルドクロス(※1 下記参照)を採用しており、使い込むほどにオイルが落ち良い雰囲気に経年変化します。

太い番手の双糸の糸で織られた中肉厚のオックスフォード(平織り)生地を石油系のワックスオイルに浸した生地になります。
アウトドア、モーターサイクル等の霧雨の中を使用出来るように防水処理を施しております。
ワックスは着用頻度により軽減され、専用のワックスで補修も可能。※塗り過ぎ注意です※
丈夫な生地にワックスを入れた伝統の有るトラディショナルワックス生地になります。
