モデル名「U.S.NAVY "Jolly Rogers/ジョリーロジャース" VF-17」スカル&クロスボーンズとは、1943年1月、第二次世界大戦で最も強力な海軍戦闘機中隊である "VF-17" に配属された "F4U コルセア" に初めて描かれこの航空機とそれを操縦したパイロットが76日間で太平洋上空で154機の撃墜を記録。
フロントボタン下部には "POWER WEAR" ネームがありその下に "U.S.N." とバランス良くプリントしております。
バックは、海賊旗 "スカル&クロスボーン" と "Jolly Rogers" をバランス良くプリントしております。
ボディには、1920年代のアンダーウェアをデザインモチーフにしたムラ糸で編まれたネップ感の強いフリーホイーラーズ オリジナル "Vintage Style Heavy Weight Jersey" コットン100%生地を使用し、光沢感のあるレーヨンサテンの前立てを配した4つボタンヘンリーネックモデルを採用しております。
首裏のガゼットや補強を兼ねたネームの取り付け位置もヴィンテージに倣った仕様となっております。
