モデル名「THE VANISHING WEST」Boone & Cremens Co. "Lot 601XX 1947" 1947年モデルは、第二次世界大戦の終戦を迎えた1945年に工場を再起動し、今まで節約していた鉄パーツを取り入れたモデルとなります。

生地にはフリーホイーラーズオリジナル "14oz Indigo Denim" を採用しております。
綿の段階から制作した生地は、経糸に5種類の糸を強弱を付け撚り合わせた太くて長いムラ糸を使用し、緯糸には単一綿の甘撚ムラ糸を使用しております。
当時と同様に旧式力織機で時間をかけて織り上げられたザラ感と毛羽立ちある赤耳付き(セルビッチ)デニムで、40年代後半に見られる青黒した濃色のインディゴロープ染色を施した生地は、縦に長い色落ちと肌触りが特徴です。

"Lot 601XX 1951モデル" と違い、無骨でテーパードの少ない太めのストレートシルエットとなります。

フロントボタンは鉄製で、表面はサビ止めの為のレモンイエローがかった着色が施され、小さい方のボタンにはタタンカ(バッファロー)の駆ける姿。

勿論、Vステッチが入り、キノコ型の形状となっている銅製のボタン足も特徴です。

リベットは表裏に刻印入りの打ち抜きリベットを採用し、バックポケットの隠しリベットはこの時代に見られる丸みのある形状にしております。

赤タブはレーヨン100%で片面に「V.WEST」の文字。

ポケットのスレーキは耳付きの生地を採用しております。

ベルトループはやや広めで薄く、センター部分のステッチ間に少し膨らみを持たせた形状。
(膨らみを持たせる事で糸切れし難くなります。)

イエローステッチをメインに使用し、金茶ステッチを使用している部分は少なめにしております。

フリーホイーラーズ "Lot 601XX 1947モデル" は、まだ少しワークテイストの雰囲気が残っており、アメリカが最も輝いていた時代に向かう過程での光や影が感じられるモデルとなります。
