モデル名にある
1922年頃の幻の "1st type" デニムジャケットを
忠実に再現した
フリーホイーラーズオリジナルデニムジャケットで、
1915年以降から1927年までの巻縫いに仕様変更された
大変希少な "Lot 506XX 1922" モデルとなります。

生地にはフリーホイーラーズオリジナル
"14oz Indigo Denim" を採用しております。
綿の段階から新たに制作した生地は、
経糸に太くて長いムラ糸を強弱を付け使用し、
緯糸にも経糸同様にムラ糸を使用しております。

このモデルの最大の特徴である当時の雰囲気を再現した
やや赤みの強い濃色のインディゴロープ染色を施した生地は
"S506XX 1944-45" 程ではありませんが、
縦に長い色落ちと肌触りが特徴です。
当時と同様に旧式力織機で時間をかけて織り上げられた
ザラ感と毛羽立ちある赤耳付き(セルビッチ)デニムとなります。

着丈の短いイメージを持つ "1st type" ですが、
こちらのモデルはヨークを深めにし着丈をやや長め、
肩幅も40年代モデル比べてやや広く取り、
袖丈をやや短め、袖肘も広めに設定しており、
襟はワイドスプレッド気味となります。

胸ポケットを低めに取り付け、
赤タブは付かずフラップは付かず、
上段の両端をオリジナル銅リベットで補強しております。

ポケット下部角の内側ステッチが三角状の縫い返しではなく、
角状に縫い返している
独特なステッチワークも再現しております。

フロントに5つ使用した中央が円錐型の鉄ボタンも特徴的です。

内向き仕様の袖口もフロント同様の鉄ボタンを使用し、
スリットエンドはオリジナル銅リベットで補強しております。

運動性を持たせる為に付いたフロントのプリーツ(タック)は、
デニムジャケットを象徴する意匠で、
押さえるステッチは幅のやや広い長方形のボックス縫いとなります。

バックは、
ヨーク上段と帯上の両サイドにプリーツが付きます。

帯上の中央には
"1st type" の特徴であるシンチバックが付き、
調整可能となります。

※両爪の尖りにはお気を付け下さい。

フロント裏には、
セルビッチ(赤耳)部が使用されております。

縫製糸には当時の縫製を再現する為、
あまり太い番手の糸は使用せず運針ピッチを細かくし、
巻き縫い、本縫い共に
金茶色のオリジナル綿糸で各部を縫製しております。

ネームパッチは革になり、
胸ポケット部には特製のフラッシャーも付いております。

サイズ 46、48は勿論 "Tバック仕様" となります。

THE VANISHING WEST "Lot 601XXc 1937" モデルと
同様の生地になりますので、
セットアップでもお楽しみ頂けます。
