1920年〜30年代頃のワークシャツをモチーフにしており
モデル名 "Jenkins/ジェンキンス" とは、
ユタ州とネバダ州の境に位置するモータースポーツにおける
スピード記録の聖地として知られる広大で平らな塩湖
"Bonneville Salt Flats/ボンネビル ソルトフラッツ"
にてで世界速度記録を樹立したレーシングドライバー
"Ab Jenkins/アブ ジェンキンス" からとなります。
使用生地はフリーホイーラーズ オリジナル
"Original Cotton Flannel Check With a Raised Back"
コットン100%を採用しております。
また、わかりにくいですがフランネルのパターン色を
"KHAKI×GREEN×OLIVE" と3色使用しております。
30年代頃の
チェック柄をモチーフにフリーホイーラーズ
らしくパターンアレンジしており、
先染めムラ糸を使用した肉厚な裏起毛チェック生地を
2/2の右綾織りにて仕上げております。
着込むほどに経年変化し、
ヴィンテージの様な退色も楽しめます。
襟はチンストラップ付きの仕様となります。
やや低い位置に取り付けた左右ポケットは
同型のボタン付き仕様になります。
前立ての幅をやや太めに二重補強し、
下部をクラッシックなラウンド形状にしております。
ボタンの付く裏面を
ブラックコットンモールスキンでラウンド部まで補強しており、
表面にステッチが見えるように
縫製されたユニオンチケットも付きます。
裾の両脇にはブラックコットンモールスキンを
使用したマチが付いております。
ボタンには全てブラウン系オリーブ色の
4つ穴尿素ボタンを使用しております。
ガンガン着込み洗濯を繰り返すことで、
クラッシックな良い雰囲気を醸し出すモデルとなります。 -
