この "CAMELBACK Breeches/キャメルバック ブリーチズ" は
実在した1920年代の "Leather Togs/レザー トグス" レーベルの
レザー製ブリーチズをベースにコットンモールスキンで制作した
フリーホイーラーズ初のレーシング用ブリーチズとなり、
モデル名 "CAMELBACK/キャメルバック" とは
ハーレー初のファクトリーレーサー
"Otto Walker/オットー ウォーカー"
の直線を駆け抜けるバックスタイルからの
アダ名「キャメルバック オットー」からとなります。
レーシング用ブリーチズということもあり、
他のブリーチズとは異なる
シルエットや様々なディテールとなります。
生地にはフリーホイーラーズ オリジナル
"Vintage Style Heavy Weight Moleskin"
一般的なコットンモールスキンに比べると生地は肉厚ですが、
表面の毛羽立ちはやや少なめです。
その他のブリーチズに比べて太もも部分の膨らみがやや強く、
よりブリーチズらしいシルエットになっております。
フロントは、3個のスナップボタンと
"HOOKLESS/フックレス" 製ジッパー仕様
になっております。
また、バックのレースアップ仕様により
約5cm程緩める調節が出来ます。
緩めてもレースアップの裏側には
三角状のマチが付いておりますので問題ありません。
フロントポケットはフロントジッパー同様に
"HOOKLESS/フックレス" ジッパーを使用しております。
バックポケットはスナップボタン付きの
フラップポケットとなります。
ヒップパッチは、
バイクでお尻が痛くならない為のクッションの役割など
ヒップをより頑丈にする工夫でもあります。
また、フロント膝部もダブルニー仕様になっており、
強度を上げております。
黒塗りリベットで留められた
細長いベルトループも特徴的です。
これは当時、
太めのベルトで腰を締めていた為と思われます。
裾は "HOOKLESS/フックレス" 製ジッパーにより
開閉出来る構造になっており、
本来はエンジニアブーツなどにブーツインするのが正当ですが、
ローカットの革靴などと合わせ、
裾を外に出すことによりアクセントにするのもオススメです。
ウエストの裏側、
フラップポケット裏、裾ジッパー部フラップ裏には、
コットンリネンサージが使用しております。
ポケットのスレキにはワイン色の
コットン生地を使用しています。
